Dr. Johan W. Botha is one of the Implant & Aesthetic Academy’s longest-serving and most dedicated mentors. A proud IAA alumnus, Dr. Botha has played an instrumental role in mentoring generations of delegates through both clinical development and ongoing professional support.

Dr. Willie Ritz is a Specialist Periodontist with nearly two decades of experience in private practice. After qualifying as a dentist from the University of Pretoria in 1996, he went on to complete his MChD in Periodontics and Oral Medicine (cum laude) in 2004

Dr. Carl de Villiers is a Specialist Periodontist with a deep commitment to soft tissue regeneration, implant maintenance, and surgical precision.

Dr. Cobus Verster is a highly experienced Dental Surgeon with over 30 years of clinical practice, specialising in implantology, aesthetic dentistry, and complex full-mouth rehabilitation.

Dr. Suzette Stander is a Specialist Periodontist and Implantologist with a wealth of academic, clinical, and teaching experience. A long-standing member of the IAA family, she has completed all of our advanced courses and has served as a dedicated mentor for several years.

Dr. Waldo Engelbrecht is a dynamic clinician with a strong focus on Implant and Digital Workflow Aesthetic Dentistry. After earning his dental degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2005, he went on to complete a Diploma in Odontology (DipOnt) at the University of Pretoria in 2009.

Dr. Brian Burchell is a Dental Reconstructive Surgeon and digital dentistry innovator with a passion for advanced surgical and restorative procedures. A proud alumnus of the Implant & Aesthetic Academy, Dr. Burchell has completed multiple IAA programmes—including advanced implantology and soft tissu
